Appendices

The appendices to the Manual for Courts-Martial, United States (2024 edition) published here, transcribed from the Manual and kept correctable — like the rest of the site, every appendix below can be edited by a signed-in contributor, subject to administrator review.

THE OTHER APPENDICES

The Manual carries further appendices that are not transcribed here — among them the Constitution (Appendix 1), the Uniform Code of Military Justice itself (Appendix 2), and the analyses of the Rules for Courts-Martial and the Military Rules of Evidence. The UCMJ is published on this site as its own corpus rather than as an appendix.

Not legal advice. These appendices are transcribed from the Manual for reference. Appendix 2.1 is expressly non-binding guidance, and the Appendix 12 chart states that it “was compiled for convenience purposes only and is not the authority for specific punishments.” Verify against the current Manual and consult a judge advocate or qualified counsel.
